Into the Depths
A short game inspired by the Ludum Dare 48 Theme "Deeper and deeper"
Take control of a submarine to repair a wrecked ship by reattaching all pieces of wreckage.
Repeatedly tap UP to ascend. Press LEFT and RIGHT to move horizontally. Pieces automatically attach themselves to the salvaging arm. Press SPACEBAR to let go of a piece. When the arm collides with the terrain or a fish, you drop whatever you are currently holding.
The game is lost when your oxygen runs out. Oxygen is is depleted over time or when bumping into a fish. Taking a piece of treasure and bringing it to the surface expands your oxygen meter, allowing you to go deeper.
Made using Godot Game Engine, Gimp (graphics) and LMMS (music/sound)
